The Bible – We believe the Bible is verbally inspired by God and fully preserved for us. The Bible is inerrant, infallible and complete in its entirety from Genesis through Revelation.  It will always be the highest doctrinal authority for our church for faith and practice. (Psalm 12:6-7; 2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25;2 Pet. 1:19-21)

The Trinity – We believe in one true God, who is eternal, self-existent, infinite, holy and immutable.  God has one nature, one essence, and one substance; yet manifests himself in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1; Deut. 6:4; 1 Tim. 1:17; James 1:17; 1 Jn. 4:4)

Creation – We believe God created the Heavens and the Earth, as well as, mankind in perfection, by His power, in six days.  There are many theories on this doctrine, and we would lovingly disagree with any theory of atheistic evolution or intelligent design not attributed to the Genesis account of creation.  (Gen. 1-2; Ex. 20:11; Psa. 8:3-4, 19:1,4; 139:13-16; Rom. 1:19-20)

Jesus Christ – We believe Jesus is God and was born of a virgin, lived a perfect, sinless life as God manifested in the flesh to die as the sin substitute for humanity on the cross.  The vicarious death, burial, and victorious resurrection of Jesus is the good news of the Gospel and is the only means of salvation.  After His resurrection He ascended to be seated at the right hand of the Father and will visibly return as the King of kings and Lord of lords one glorious day to this earth. (Psa. 2:7-9; Isa. 7:14, 9:6; Mat. 1:25; Jn 1:1,3,14,18,29; Rom. 3:19-25, 5:6-15; Phil. 2:5-11; 1 Tim. 2:5, 3:16; Rev. 20:1-6)

Sin & Salvation – We believe every person is born with an inherited sin nature received from the rebellion of Adam, except for the God-man, Jesus.  Therefore, every person is a sinner by nature, by practice, and by choice and is totally incapable of saving themselves. The only hope for humanity is repentance toward God and faith in the Gospel, which is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.  Jesus is not one of many ways or even the best way, but He is the only way to salvation, forgiveness, and redemption, which is only by the grace of God.  We believe those who trust Jesus Christ as their savior by faith have a personal relationship with Him, have been birthed into the Family of God, receive His righteousness, are justified and are eternally secure. (Ecc. 7:20; Jn. 3:3-5, 14-18, 14:1-6; Rom. 3:10, 23-25, 5:1, 8-10, 6:23, 8:1, 35-39, 10:9-10; 2 Cor. 5:17, 21; Eph. 2:8-10; Titus 3:5)

The Church – We believe Jesus established His church during His earthly ministry, gave it authority to make disciples of all nations, and empowered it on the day of Pentecost to fulfill the pending task of the Great Commission.  More than 2,000 years later, the gates of Hell still haven’t prevailed against His church, which is composed of saved people, who proclaim Jesus is Lord and have received scriptural baptism. The local church meets voluntarily to worship, fellowship, edify and encourage one another, and observe the ordinances of baptism and communion all to the glory of God. (Mat. 16:16-18, 28:18-20; Acts 1:15, 2:41-43, 11:15; 20:28; 1 Cor. 15:51-58; Eph. 1:12-14, 5:25-30; 1 Tim. 3:14-15; Heb. 10:25)

Worship – We believe human beings are made in the image of God and were created to worship Him continually and unceasingly.  Worship includes praise, proclamation, service, sacrifice and submission, which should be God-centered and not me-centered.  Therefore, corporate worship should be a magnification and exaltation of God through prayer, Scripture reading, Bible preaching, music and singing, as well as, financial giving.  We believe in embracing each church gathering as an opportunity to passionately worship God by the direction of His Word and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. (Psalms; Jn. 4:21-24; Mk. 14:3-9; Rom 12:1-2; Eph. 5:18-20; Heb. 12:28-29, 13:15)
